Lalah Hathaway stops by the Stax Music Academy

To kick off their Winter Break The Stax Music Academy’s students had a special treat. Neo-Soul star, Lalah Hathaway stopped in for a special visit at SMA’s campus. After a short performance by the SMA rhythm section and StreetCorner Harmonies, Hathaway had high praise for the students and their commitment to their craft. She shared some insight to her life as a touring artist, former student at Berklee College of Music, and evolving songwriter and performer.
