Outdoor activities include a silent auction, Walk of Fame and Wall of Fame Induction Ceremonies, plus a spirited Battle of the Marching Bands. Wall of Fame Inductees include Amoeba Music and dedicated Tipitina¹s Foundation supporter NicciNoble. This year's Walk of Fame Inductee is Jean Knight, best known for her 1971 single "Mr. Big Stuff."

<br />Indoor activities begin at 8:30pm and require a ticket for entry (must be 18 years or older). This year’s fabulous line-up includes: Galactic, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave, Anders Osborne, Big Sam's Funky Nation featuring Jean Knight and many, many more. <br />Since its inception in 2003, The Tipitina’s Foundation IAC program has been able to provide over $2.5 million in new, high quality musical instruments to over 75 schools and after school programs in the Greater New Orleans Metro Area. Over 4000 local students are impacted annually by IAC.

<br />As in previous years, every dollar raised by this year's IAC benefit concert, online & silent auction goes to purchasing new, high-quality musical instruments for New Orleans area music programs. "Instruments a Comin'" co-sponsors include New Orleans Music Exchange and Jupiter Musical Instruments.

<br />Phoenix Conservatory of Music is having its 2nd annual Berklee City Music Scholarship Benefit Concert. Phoenix Conservatory of Music is a member of The Berklee City Music Network! A Berklee City Music Network Member is affiliated with The Berklee College of Music. Its site shows a commitment to giving inner city at risk students' opportunities with amazing programs, artists, and experiences that celebrate contemporary music. The Berklee City Music Scholarship Benefit Concert is a free community concert to celebrate the achievement of our City Music Ensemble, give recognition to all of our Berklee Five Week Summer Performance Program Nominees, and Bestow Scholarships to the two students selected to attend the Berklee Five Week Summer Performance Program on Full Scholarship. Donations to pay for the student room, board, and travel will be requested.

<br />The evening will begin at 6:30 pm with a 30 minute reception and live performance from our City Music Ensemble

<br />Rick Wolfe was a great friend to the Knoxville music community and a beloved and respected employee at the popular music store, Pick’n'Grin, where he worked for several years. Rick was an extraordinary musician, most notably as a bass player in local bands including The Macdaddies and Crawdaddy, and a longtime member of the Delta Flyers, and Body Heat. He passed away in 2007, but his musical influence lives on in the continuing skills and dedication of his many students and appreciative audience members.
<br />
<br />Rick was also known as the go-to choice for any band in Knoxville needing an expert fill-in. With his recordings, teachings, and love of music and musicians, Rick Wolfe left behind a legacy in Knoxville’s music scene that has extended well beyond the city’s boundaries. Wolfe Jam brings together musicians who wish to perpetuate his spirit and love for performing great music for more and more appreciative audiences.
<br />
<br />The proceeds from the event benefit the work of the hundreds of deserving students and volunteers at the Joy of Music School.
<br />
